How often do you look at your to do list and feel completely and utterly overwhelmed?
I always find that particularly mid week I look at my action items and don't know where to start.
This overwhelm can leave you feeling unmotivated and also stop you focusing.
Here is a quick and easy tip that I learned from the GTD system which you can implement in so many areas of your life not just your business
The trick - give yourself an easy win...
Think off it like this - when you complete a task you feel a little kick of satisfaction - you cross it off your list (or tick check it on your planner) and - boom💥 the list gets shorter - this is motivating.

Apply this to your inbox each day - if a email comes in that requires an action that will take 2 minutes - for instance replying to an invite, providing someone with an document or signature readily available on your device - do it straight away - Do not let it even make its way to your to do list. This keeps your list shorter and less clogged up with annoying tasks.
Once you have had an easy win or two - eyes down on a task that your putting off. You'll be in a better mindset and more likely to keep on task. .
